This quilt can be made using one set of forty 10 inch squares – instructions include how to make the Hour Glass units by cutting the pieces slightly larger and trimming them to size. Surrounded by a piano key border inspired me to name this design Keeping Time, and I think it would be perfect for a baby quilt, or small lap quilt or throw. Tucker Trimmer and Magic Wand by Studio 180 designs make this quilt a breeze to make, but you can easily make it with standard rulers as well.Layer cake friendly pieced quilt pattern.
